I hate it when people post quotes like this. they’re so fucking obvious, & so fucking mundane, but people like to post it like it’s the most profound shit they’ve ever heard. as much as i love himym this quote does not deserve it’s only little post and 300 something likes or whatever that people spill over cause they find it interesting. why can’t people develop their own thoughts? why do they need every movie, tv, show, song in the world to express every sing emotion, every single aspect of their life and society? come up with your own shit. if this can somehow be meaningful & “deep”, i’m sure the dumb shit you come up with in your head & psychoanalyze can be too.
